Pitts Regarding Human Rights Abuses in the Riots in Indonesia The Congressional Human Rights Caucus, co-chaired by Congressman John Porter and Congressman Tom Lantos, is a bi-partisan group of members that has taken significant interest in and concern for the situation in Indonesia. In addition to concerning the Human Rights Caucus members, other Congressmen and Senators, and many American people are troubled by the human rights violations in East Timor.
