NEW YORK (Reuters) - Big banks will start repaying government bailout funds on Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The banks include: JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N), Morgan Stanley (MS.N) and American Express Co (AXP.N), the Journal reported.

The firms received $25 billion, $10 billion and $3.4 billion, respectively, the Journal said.
