Pakistan Marriott blast shows signs of al-Qaida
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Taliban militants based near the Afghan border and their al-Qaida allies are the most likely suspects behind a massive truck bombing at Islamabad's Marriott Hotel, officials and experts said Sunday. At least 53 died in the explosion, including two U.S. Defense Department employees and the Czech ambassador.

Pakistan blames Al-Qaeda for hotel bombing

Suicide bomb guts Pakistan Marriott hotel; 40 dead
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - A massive suicide truck bomb gutted the heavily guarded Marriott Hotel in Pakistan's capital Saturday, killing at least 40 people and wounding hundreds. Dozens more were feared dead inside the building that was still burning hours after the attack.
